Room 3 Rebuild - September 2010
Room 3 as it was.
Before the renovations Room 2 and Room 3 had an arch way between the rooms. This meant they couldn't be used at the same time. One of the first things we did was to build a wall in the arch way, separating the two rooms.
After much discussion it was also decided to completely revamp Room 3 in the hope we would increase what was then a 5% occupancy in the room. The work include new electrics and lighting, as well as damp course treatment. Walls were aligned and the fireplace was blocked off. And finally the room was decorated and a new floor and blinds installed. We also brought new tables and chairs for the room, and a flat screen multi-media system.
During the work a fascinating picture was uncovered when the wall paper came off.
